He did well. It was about 4 hours for the practical part, half an hour of theoretical.
He had to do 2 fights (which is pretty much full contact sparring). He got a kick to the ribs that has him quite sore on the one side, but he also managed to do a nifty sweep on that same sparring partner, and take him down.
He'll get his blue belt, of that I'm certain. He also turned in his green belt certificate a while ago, in an attempt to get straight back to his old rank, shihan wanted to see his kata (and probably other performance too) before deciding, so PreZ got to do some extra kata that aren't yet required for us orange belts. I think he did pretty well with that too, though I'm not sure he'd get green (which is 2 belts above blue).
He'll get his blue, and maybe if he's lucky, he'll skip that and go to yellow, depending on what shihan thought. Green isn't in the cards I don't think.
