Nov. 25th, 2002 02:51 pmMuch dvd and book goodness arrived on the weekend, so now we can happily tuck away into the Red Curtain box set and Brotherhood of the Wolf and a couple of others... yay!
Saturday we went down to Jersey to Kit and Cherie and hung out there for a while. Cherie sewed the slipcovers for our chair backs, so they're all done now finally... I think it's almost a year now since we got them as disgusting grey/beige things with icky blue vinyl seat and back covers. Kit fitted PreZ for the jacket that he's making, which is looking very nice with the fabric we picked up in the Fashion District a few weeks ago. I wish I could even remotely do what they can both do... it's frustrating looking at pictures of outfits and hearing Kit say "oh, but that's really easy to make"... erm, yeah, it is if you've just had 4 years of costuming training :P
Went out for a bite to eat, which ended up being at a sports bar *shudder* but that was about the only place we could find. Later we watched Vanilla Sky, which I'd not seen yet, but which is definitely a kickass movie. I had actually expected Cameron Diaz' part to be larger, just the impression I got from trailers I remembered. Very good... see it if you want a movie that will make your head spin trying to figure out what is reality and what is dream.
