So this time tomorrow I will have new holes... yay! I'll probably also have a throbbing ear ;) but ah well. I have that sense of anticipation, like you used to have as a kid before Christmas *glee*. Granted, Christmas presents don't usually come with a dose of pain ;)

I have sea salt in the house, and I bought a little box of gauze pads... industrials have a way of bleeding, and I really don't want it to bleed like a motherfucker all the way home on the train and not have anything to control it with, nor do I want to have the issue of dabbing it with a tissue and getting that stuck to the piercing.

And now I must finish my post-midnight dinner, watch The Addams Family and crash, to rise again in the morning to go fabric shopping in NYC tomorrow with Kit and Cherie. And possibly PreZ, but I think he might pike.

So I am now the proud owner of a brand new piercing, an industrial.

The blue stripes/dots are from the placement markings. There's some yellow on the top of my ear from the iodine I believe, and some dried blood trapped behind the bar in the second picture. I haven't yet cleaned it since I got it, so this is 'as-is'.
