Rain

So much rain. I can't believe how much has fallen in the last weeks and months. We've gone from one extreme last year to the other... drought to drenching.

It is nice to be able to hear the rain falling when reading in bed. It was less nice when the power blacked out due to heavy rain on Wednesday night, amusingly last night when we actually had a thunderstorm the power stayed on.

Came home from the supermarket this afternoon to find the upstairs people vacuuming out the car with a water vacuum... Valerie had left her sun roof open last night and with the massive rainfall during the night had made a nice puddle in the car ;)
