Tonight we'll be in La-La-Land.

I'm really looking forward to this in no small part due to Bats Day, and in even bigger part due to the fact that we get to hang out with the charming [livejournal.com profile] djbloodrose and [livejournal.com profile] strigoiimorte for just over a week, and maybe even hook up with [livejournal.com profile] jezzylin, which would be icing on the cake.

[livejournal.com profile] strigoiimorte has compiled a list of things he thinks we should see/do while we're there, which include 4 Must Go To club nights, including Release The Bats and Ghoul School. This gives us our entertainment for Saturday (Dungeon), Wednesday (Ghoul School), Thursday (Perversion) and Friday (Release The Bats)(!!) nights. Optionally there's also Monday which apparantly also hosts an interesting club. The second Saturday is all about the Nightmare Before Bats Day, which will have a bazaar, dinner, and entertainment in the form of Voodoo Organist, Tragic Black and The Last Dance. And Sunday the main event itself, goths invading the Magic Kingdom.

So far I'm already giving the Bats Day organisers A+ for their efforts. Noah's gone above and beyond the call to organise this and make sure people are kept up to date. He called about the t-shirts that came with our packages (and I know he called Nacht too for that, so I think he called every single person). And when I emailed him with some questions the other day, and my email was screwing up, he actually called and left information on our answering machine, and then followed it up with another call to make sure I'd gotten the info and stuff after I sent him alternate contact details. I like people who are on top of the things they organise. So bonus points.

[livejournal.com profile] blu_muse mentioned there was a Nightmare Before Christmas gift shop at Disneyland. I'm *so* screwed. I'm going to want to spend way too much money in there.

We've even managed to keep plans in tact to still go up to Sequoia National Park, which we'll most likely do on Tues-Weds, which fits nicely around Rose's work schedule. Sadly all the crap with her previous job and the transition to the new one meant that plans we had of all going up there were unworkable :( but I'm happy we get to spend time with them anyway.
