Glancing over our Netflix queue this afternoon I noticed something. Roughly half of the extensive queue is listed as "Very Long Wait". What the hell is up with that? I realise that that can happen with brand new movies that are very popular, but that's not the case with many of the movies queued.

Has Netflix seen such a massive influx of new members that everything is booked solid for ages? Or are people slackers that they never turn them in? (Granted, can't say too much there, as we've had some of ours for quite some time). It's bad enough that the turnaround time for returning movies and having them shipped out has gotten to be slower than it used to be, but if half the stuff we want to see is on the "Very Long Wait" list, it's not exactly improving my view of the service.

Argh.
