I've been packing like a maniac the past few days. This morning I was packing at 4am. Granted, Dashiell had something to do with that, but still.
On a tangent, we've almost worked his deep sleep to nights and his nap sleep to days, so we're close to sorting out some of his sleep issues. For now at least.
Even with so much packing done, I feel like I would still need several more days than the 1 I have left. What is worse is that Friday PreZ won't be around to help. He's been working from home most of the week, and has been able to pack here and there during the day as well. Friday he was supposed to be at the new place in the afternoon, to await the delivery of our new mattress, some furniture and the DirecTV installer person, all scheduled to be there around the 12-5pm slot. Verizon had to go throw a spanner in the works, and gave a timeframe for the FiOS installation of 8am to 5pm. PreZ has documented here what about the whole Verizon thing is particularly annoying and unnecessary, even besides the ridiculous 9 hour time frame. Worst of all it means that rather than only have him availible in the morning, I don't have him availible all day to help pack, and there's still so much to do.
It's going to be a late night tomorrow. Bleh.
