annuinIt creeps me out that there is such a thing as competitive eating. Like this country doesn't already have enough issues with gluttony and overeating as it is... now we need to see people cramming insane amounts of food into their gobs at breakneck speed. And people actually watch this stuff too.
What's worse is that they televise these eating competitions on ESPN, a sports network. There's some great irony in that.
