I suppose they can be forgiven for thinking goths might be interested, given the vast amount of Christian religious imagery surrounding classic gothic (stone angels! crucifixes! demons and cherubs and graveyards, oh my!); but they can't be forgiven for the combination of stupidity and attempted cynical manipulation.
