I totally relate to mouth pain. The cancer I had was in the roof of my mouth. Between the surgery to remove it and the 3 months of radiation to eradicate any remaining nasty cells, causing burning and swelling in gums (and thereby moving of teeth), I didn't chew solid food for a year. Vicadin was my best friend. I had a lousy dentist to begin with who hadn't even noticed the tumor and switched to another guy who had me in surgery within the week. I feel your pain. :(
