Spring please! I'll take 2

You know, I've been imbibing fluids regularly, yet still I'm battling a dehydration headache. I really hate this weather, I am SO ready for Spring now. No more static shocks, no more dry itchy flaky skin... I'm almost on the verge of having nosebleeds again from the lack of humidity, as I've occasionally been noticing clotted blood when I blow my nose. The humidifier is on pretty constantly, and it's not putting much of a dent in it. I can water my cactus almost every day because his little pot is pretty much parched on a daily basis.

ARGH! Am. Totally. Fucking. Fed. Up. With. This. Cold. Crap.

And of course Sunday afternoon or evening it's scheduled to start snowing. Again. Some more.

Wow, too bad you're not down here, where it just rained a couple days ago, and the weather is nearly perfect...yep, it's about 50 or so degrees F here...preeeeeety nice...

But that would mean I'd be stuck in OK, I don't think I could handle that :P

Before the last two days of summer storms arrived, we had 35'C (95'F) with over 80% humidity.... not a cloud in the damn sky... I would perform lewd and illegal acts with plush toy animals ON FILM to be somewhere with snow right now...

First winter I was here, we thought I had contact dermatitis, I was so scaly. I didn't sleep for more than 40 minutes at a stretch because I was so uncomfy, and I found I was bleeding because my skin was cracked. Gross and disgusting. We changed laundry detergent several times. Eventually, my host-mother (I was au pairing at the time) got a grip of a client who was a dermatologist, who said "She's not used to this climate - give her a humidifier and have her slather herself with a pure moisturiser." I did, and it took the edge off. Nowadays, I just start slapping on the moisturiser at the first hint of winter.

Doesn't stop me feeling horribly dehydrated though.

So, snap.

i know exactly what you mean. we just had an ICE storm here. UGH!!! it's a shame that winter (everyone's least favorite) lasts the longest out of the four seasons.
