Edward Gorey & Barnes and Noble

For those of you who like Gorey, you might want to check out your local Barnes and Noble. When I was there earlier in the week I noticed a large stack of hardback Amphigorey Also's on sale for $9.98. Which was highly amusing as they still had the softcover for sale for the regular $19.98 price in the humour/cartoonist section. This imprint is one of B&N's own I believe, with a black-and-white cover and Gorey illustration on the front (naturellement).

Pity they only did Amphigorey Also, I couldn't see any similar hardbacks of Amphigorey and Amphigorey too, or I'd have been very pleased indeed.

Linky to BN page with picture of the cover. A quick look on BN's site seems to reveal that they only did a B&N hb version of the last of the three volumes, which is weird. Ah well.

Ooooooh... I must stop by B&N this weekend. I once picked up a B&N hardback version of Dracula with Gorey illustrations for cheap there. Gotta love a bargain.
