*SQUEE* !!

Dear Lilith,

I recently came upon your beautiful website and i am deeply flattered that you should name it after one of my songs!

Paul
from Big Electric Cat

For those unaware, my personal domain is silentgarden.net. Silent garden was a word/phrase coined from one of my all time favourite songs Christabel by Big Electric Cat, whose stuff I love, even though the band long since dissolved, unfortunately.

I must squeal like a fangirl now :D

I've never heard of that band before but that is really cool! That would make me squeal too.... but I bet an email from Jude Law would make you squeal even more ;)

I think the adequate response to an email from him would be cardiac arrest *grin*. Though that's not likely to ever happen anyway.

People in the goth music scene aren't exactly as unreachable as people like him, who are just in the stratosphere by comparison.

Oh, and I'll introduce you to their music sometime.

You'll definitely have to do that :)

Yes, completely out of the blue :) I was really surprised.

It's still a bit weird that he managed to find my site. Though I guess information on BEC is fairly scarce, I remember barely ever being able to find anything about them which was always sad.

I think the first time I ever heard them was "Christabel" on a tape that you sent me of the college radio station in Atlanta, where they were interviewing Cait, back in '98 I think when a.b.c-r-k still existed. So I technically have you to thank for introducing them to me (and several other bands that were on that tape/show... The Shroud, The Crüxshadows, Lycia).
