Critters
Cherie picked up the critters on Thursday. And it's been so quiet ever since.
I keep expecting to hear a bird chirp when there's water running in the shower, or the bathroom fan is on, or when I boil the kettle in the kitchen, but it's silent. And I keep expecting to see a furball zoom past who will almost trip me as I go to the bathroom because she thinks I'm headed into the kitchen (regardless of whether she already had a supply of food or not). Food was the only thing she'd run for, it was amusing to watch.
Even though the kitty was at times destructive she's a nice kitty. She likes company... if I was on the computer, she'd be napping on the pillow on the floor next to me, if I was in the living room she'd be on the couch next to me, or across the room where she could keep an eye on the couch. If I was asleep and the door was open she'd come in for a nap too, or if I was reading or doing some stitching in bed she'd curl up nearby and watch me.
She left me some more cat puke next to the foodbowl as a parting gift... she's so sweet :P

Afternoons seem to be the worst time though, and I'm glad to say that at least this afternoon it's a very mild headache. Most of the rest of the day seems to be fine (after I've had 2 ibuprofen, but I don't think those work for HOURS after I've taken them... so who knows).
So it seems to be lessening, but it's not all gone.
