A snippet from a Sydney Morning Herald article which had 2 paragraphs about swimmer Brooke Hanson, who won a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke:

The Hanson celebration may not be over quite yet. The word we hear is a few days ago Papa Hanson and his assistant, Dave Mason, promised Brooke if she won a medal that at the end of the swimming the two would swim a lap of the pool ... nude."

Now I'm sure that will make for some interesting Olympic tv.

My own little part of The Dream. *wistful sigh* I coulda been an Olympian if I wasn't a motivationally challenged pothead with little to no athletic aspiration....

Got a gold medal in Joint Rolling and bronze in the Bongathon at the 1996 Hemp Olympiad, though. (the original UQ High Society one, not the one they ripped off down in Nimbin for their Mardi Grass)
