Upon receiving my gorgeous copy of Poppy Z. Brite and Christa Faust's Triads, I realised that I accidentally ordered it twice from Subterranean Press*.
So I currently have the Deluxe Hardcover Edition, and later will have the Deluxe Limited Edition. If I hadn't actually looked at the packing slip/invoice I don't think I would have realised I'd ordered it twice until the second one arrived on the doorstep, because the invoice showed that this completed a different order than the pending order in which I'd selected other books.
I guess I'm just happy that A) I'm a big fan anyway, and B) that Sub. Press often has very nifty specials, which they were running both times I ordered, which mean that I'm not actually out of pocket by having two of them.
Oh well.
And this adds one more to the ever growing To Read pile.
* One might wonder how this can happen, well, that's pretty easy... both were ordered in a pre-order, which is usually months or more in advance (in this case the first order was placed back in November for a book that only just came from the printer). And secondly there's no function that you can check some database with your pending orders, and I my computer at one stage earlier this year ate some of my email, so I didn't have the order confirmation email anymore.
