I realise the fast food/chain food businesses aren't particularly well-earning jobs, but it would be nice if they didn't hire complete fucking morons. It's on par with having people who can barely speak English managing the drive-thru.

We usually get pizza from Papa Johns. We don't like the local joint's pizza, and our local Pizza Hut doesn't have chicken as a pizza topping, plus often the PJ's pizza is tastier than PH. We generally order online, and it should definitely be done by the time I arrive there to pick it up (we live in the delivery black hole). However, there's nearly always some kind of issue, no matter how minor. Either it's not done yet (and I definitely don't arrive before the supposed 20 odd minutes it'll take to get ready), or they forget something... like today's order of cheese sticks, which I waited way too long for. And sometimes you just end up home and  look into your box to notice they've either left out a topping altogether (like anchovies on Kreestof's half of a pizza I got a few weeks back) or they just ignore the directions you gave to have mushrooms on only one half, and pineapple on the other half and then you find both on a slice.

Today I blame the stupid dipshit behind the counter. You could just tell she was a dumb bitch from looking at her. As I was waiting for them to make our cheesesticks, some guy walked in to pick up his pizzas. I don't know what exactly he ordered, but I know one of them was supposed to have lots of veggie stuff on it, with the exception of black olives and fresh tomatoes. The dipshit was like "oh yes, I have your large beef and your large cheese pizzas ready". I've no idea which one was the screw-up, but neither beef or cheese really come close to veggies.

Last time at least, when they screwed up with Kreestof's anchovies, they did give us a free large pepperoni pizza, because we'd also had to wait once we got there to pick up the pizza. So that was nice enough.

Pizza Hut without chicken as a topping? Wow... never ceases to amaze.

I know what you mean about something being wrong every time. There are four major chains that deliver in our area - Pizza Hut, Dominos, Pizza Haven, and Eagle Boys.

Every one of them got our order markedly wrong every single time - except Eagle Boys. After our third order fuck-up in a row from Domino's (having already written off Pizza Haven and Pizza Hut), we ordered pizzas from Eagle Boys - and they got it exactly right. We were so excited we rang them up to thank them personally - they were pretty chuffed with the praise. *grin* And we've stuck with them ever since for that reason, even though their pizzas aren't the best (they're good, just not the best). Once our pizza was about 10 minutes late, they rang us about 5 minutes before the pizza was due to arrive to let us know. Amazing, huh?

I'm sure most Pizza Hut's have chicken as a topping, it's just that the one near us doesn't. It's really really annoying.

And I don't blame you for sticking with the people that give the best service, just getting exactly what you ordered is such a relief sometimes. It bothers me a lot because our order is put in through the computer, they receive it carefully printed out on stickers, so following basic fucking instructions shouldn't be too hard.

It happens sometimes even with drive-thru food, you very clearly state what you want, and sometimes still end up with the wrong thing... like plasticy mac & cheese instead of mashed potatoes as a KFC side order. I'm still trying to figure out how they got that one so completely wrong.

It's simple, I deal with it day-in day-out. It's called 16 year old highschool dropouts. I swear I must be one of 10 people in our area that actually completed grade 12.

They have no desire to learn, be cheerful (Scary that I have something in common) or even comprehend an order. They just stand there, fuck up orders, giggle, get the manager, and spend the rest of hte night standing around like a bunch of well, high-school girls.
