Mmm... got a bunch of work done on Majick's Mini-Beasts site. Just organising the Gallery now, tweaking whatever remaining stuff I can until I get the information with which I can finish it and pass it on. silentgarden.net/minibeasts in case someone's interested.

It'll be good to get that off my plate so I can move on to something else.

I'm toying with ideas for a new layout for my site, there's a few options, not sure which one will win out as of yet.

But, first finish the mini beasts, and then it's a toss up between a personal site redesign or updating goth.net submissions which includes wading through Bad Goth Poetry (tm) to find some good stuff *sigh*...

You know, I could probably think of plenty of reasons why monarchies are outdated, overrated, extraneous etc. but when people use reasons like "we didnt see any of the luxury of royal life, why should they be born to such wealth and advantage" I just want to throttle them for being so fucking childish.

And that was an explanation given by someone who's 40. I would have thought that at that age you get beyond the "he has more toys than me" stage.

Meanwhile this person also had trouble distinguishing between a right to privacy debate and whether or not the (British) monarchy should be abolished. The latter being completely irrelevant to the former, which is what the debate was about. But then because you're jealous of someone having more than you, it's okay that they have no privacy because the institution they serve should be abolished anyway.

Can we abolish stupid people? Please?
