Dec. 1st, 2002 12:29 amCurrently listening to tracks to compile a cd for the swap with the the group formerly known as a.b.c-r-k, the rehomed bunch of Caitlín R. Kiernan fans. It's been a while since the last swap was conducted so I'm looking forward to this one. Granted, my tapes and cd's from the last swap are actually still residing in Caitlín's storage somewhere and I've not yet heard the material from the last swap... it's a long story.
These swaps are invariably bad for my wallet as there's always a few bands that pop up on some of these tapes/cd's that you want to check out and buy.
Listening to this Sunshine Blind song really makes me wish that they'd hurry and get some new material out soon, it's already been 4+ years or so. At least we got to see them at Limelight in NYC last August which was excellent.
On a music tangent, The Crüxshadows are playing at QXT's in Newark NJ next Saturday... MUST SEE THEM! We skipped the NYC show at Batcave because it's just a nasty venue for shows, I was sorely disappointed when we tried to see Rasputina there. QXT's should be a lot less busy thus increasing viewing pleasure, and a lot cheaper than Batrave too.
