Attack of the Killer Cat

Well, not quite... but we'll be catsitting for Chestnut the living ottoman for a few weeks while Cherie is in China and Kit's in Virginia. Along with Chestnut come Panic and Zen, two birds. Cats I've lived with before, dealing with birds with be interesting to say the least.

I'm sure my brothers will be much amused by Chestnut when the arrive in a few weeks as their stays will coincide over the Christmas holiday.

We didn't go to the Crüxshadows Saturday night, we didn't feel like going alone, plus we're currently flatbroke, which doesn't help much. Consulting work sucks because the paychecks are not reliable. Though PreZ should be getting a check some time this week which should be double the last one which is good. And another in a similar amount soon. At least January 1st means proper employment with regular checks.
