Eddie Izzard, Trilobite & Corsets

So Friday evening we go see Eddie Izzard in A Day In The Death of Joe Egg with ippagoggy and darktor. This should be fun, and I think we're all in need of some fun considering this month is bad all around, not just for me.

In other fluff... I've almost finished reading through Caitlin R. Kiernan's Trilobite: The Writing of Threshold. Interesting reading, especially as some of the pieces are from when the main protagonist was male, before the gender was switched. It's hard picturing Chance as a guy rather than a girl. Strange how characters can become so entrenched in your mind that way. When my computer is finally fixed then I can look forward to listening to the accompanying cd, which will be nice.

I need to finish handstitching the seam allowance on my corset, and then sometime we need to organise what should be the last corsetmaking session at the shop to finish it, then a trip to the city to get it grommeted. Almost done *whee!*
