My brother informed me the other day that my cat Abby had made a visit to the vet after he accidentally caught her tail in the door letting her outside. Ouchie! Thankfully nothing was broken but she had a nasty cut that required 6 stitches. He was amused by her groggy wanderings from the anaesthetic, because she believed she could do things that are obviously not possible for a drugged kitty.
Ah, I miss my kitty so. This is the one thing that absolutely sucks the most about living abroad... leaving the loved ones behind, especially the four-legged furry unconditionally-loving kind. I worry more about her now that she's getting very old (16). Cats should have the same longevity as humans... in human years, or at least more than the amount they get now.
