Calling All Angels

I want to scan a few pictures but currently I can't. I'm not sure if it's because the scanner hates PreZ's windoze box or because PreZ's windoze box hates large image files in photoshop or because PreZ's windoze box hates me because it won't let me log into my roaming profile either... anyway, no pictures.
Frustrating because I received a bunch of photos from my mother the other day (before all the locked-entry shite went down) which contained 4 pictures of my cat Abby. I've only been asking for new pictures for like 6 months or so. With my cat at 16 years of age now I worry most days that it's not going to be too long before she passes on, a belief fueled by the fact that her mother and sibling died last year, and that she was already showing signs of aging when I was last home almost 2 years ago. This is also the reason why I incessantly ask for my mother/brothers to take pictures of my cat... we don't have that many pictures of her, and I'd like to have a large stash before it's too late.
Frustrating also because I had a few cards I wanted to scan so I could use the images in a layout for a site. But anyway.
To keep up with all the stress and crap etc. launched at me in recent days one of my lobe piercings, that was entirely healed, has decided to get really aggro today... reddish, swollen and oozing yucky stuff when I squeezed it. So that received some TLC just earlier. In tandem my navel piercing was also somewhat aggro yesterday but after some TLC last night that seems to have settled down mostly. I've had that one for quite a few years now, and having it play up is rare indeed. But I guess that's on par for the rest of this week.
Tomorrow I want to go to NYC and go to the Neil Gaiman signing that's happening in the afternoon. I'm also planning on hopping by the Dutch consulate in the morning to pick up my passport and then drop by PreZ and have lunch together.
Kit, let me know what time you want to meet me and if you want to have lunch with me and PreZ before we head downtown, assuming you're coming along. Cherie said she has to run some errands as well and that she might be driving into the city, so maybe you can coordinate something with her if you haven't already by the time you read this.
