YOU ARE INVITED! :)

We are hosting a party at our house on the 22nd May to celebrate both my birthday (25th) and also the fact that I FINALLY got my green card approved!

To celebrate the latter, PreZ decided to make it a Passport Party - in other words, bring your passport, we'll check it at the door! (unlike border patrol, we accept expired passports - and home-made ones if you don't have one :P).

As per usual, it's BYO alcohol, but we will have plenty of juice, soda and coffee/tea. If you have any preference, please let us know. We will also have food (both vegan friendly and non) here, but if you wish to bring something*, feel free :)

You can turn up any time after 2pm, and there is no set end time (ie. we'll host as long as people stay!).

For those of you who got Cirque du Soleil tickets, we will give them to you at that time.

Directions to our place availible to those who want them, and already provided to those who received this in the email version.

EDIT: Please RSVP and let us know whether you plan to attend or not!

* Samosas are yum *hint*

I love his reviews, the vast majority of them always have me in stitches at some point (with his LXG review likening the huge Nautilus cruising down Venice's tiny canals as believable as a gondola chase on the White House lawn being one of my all time faves).

His review of Super Size Me, the documentary in which the docu maker ate McDonalds 3 times a day for a month, and which reportedly is responsible for McD's getting rid of their Super Size policy, is hilarious.

Of course it is possible to eat responsibly at McDonald's, as spokesmen for the chain never tire of reminding us. Fast food is simply one element of a balanced nutritional plan. Of course it's the unbalanced element, unless you order the fish filet sandwich with no mayonnaise and one of those little salads with the lo-cal dressing; then you'll be fine, except for the refined white flour in the bun and the high intake of sodium. Eating responsibly at McDonald's is like going to a strip club for the iced tea.
