Birthday

Another 2 minutes of birthday left. Well, as of the time of the writing, not the posting...

It was a good day, albeit fairly quiet. My dad didn't call, but then I know the phone lines are wonky sometimes between South Africa and here, and it's happened before where he's tried and tried to get through and has failed. Ah well, no big deal, he'll manage to get through soon enough. No word from the bitch, which also suits me just fine.

Tonight we went and had dinner at Abis, a Japanese restaurant in the next town. I've wanted to go eat there for ages, but we've never gotten around to it. The decor is really lovely. I had sushi, and PreZ had filet mignon and jumbo shrimp, and we both had miso soup to start. I love miso soup, it's so simple but yummy.

Other than that, I got a funny birthday card from PreZ's mother. She has a habit of sending me weird and funny cards ;)

All in all a good day. And thanks all for the birthday wishes! much appreciated :)
