Carnivorous Plant Lovers, Unite!

I can't remember who it was, but someone on my FL recently wanted to get a Venus Flytrap, but then decided against it I believe.

That person needs this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/76c9/

Where does the peat in the planting mix come from?
Peat bogs, fragile ecosystems, under threat, etc.

I'm guessing it was me, seeing as I mentioned searching around for venus flytraps a few weeks ago and...

I LOVE THIS!

(Or for the gothic geek (http://www.pyramidcollection.com/itemdy00.asp?c=&T1=P22690&GEN1=Gothic&SKW=gothic&PageNo=2) ...)

I saw venus fly traps at Wal-Mart the other day, and was tempted beyond all reason to buy one. I would have too, except every poor little plant was already half dead. This one looks like it would be a little easier to care for, and with my black thumb, that's a good thing!
