Where does the peat in the planting mix come from?
Peat bogs, fragile ecosystems, under threat, etc.

The problem comes in tracking down who the manufacturer is.

Somehow I can't even imagine there being peat bogs in the US... it makes me think of Britain. But then that's just association more than anything concrete.
