Well, I can kind of understand the regular ones, that you might use in urban or suburban areas to get around, but a cross-country version? I highly doubt that the 'burbs get that rough and tumble, and it's not like you go "hiking" with one of those :P
Erik wondered what the point of driving somewhere and then hauling that thing out was. I noticed it weighs 100lbs, so at least getting it out of the trunk would be a bit of a workout. ;)
I don't get it either... what on earth would you use it for? In any place where you'd need something that's "all terrain" wouldn't you be better off walking/hiking or using something like a mountain bike? Because the great outdoors is really the only place I could think of using something all terrain, yet that strikes me as a useless gadget. And yeah, I noticed the 100lb weight... not exactly something that makes it easy to handle.
