annuin: (Angelina Fuck Off)

Tabloid Trash

I was in the supermarket check-out Sunday night, hurrying to get some batteries and chocolate milk before closing, and I spied the covers of the rags alongside the conveyor belt. The tabloid media keeps plumbing new depths, and it makes the mind boggle...

After months of chasing Brad and Angelina around the globe during the start of their relationship and her pregnancy, you'd think that they'd have enough after their daughter is born and pictures are now availible. But no. I think it was the National Enquirer that was now proclaiming that Shiloh isn't Brad's daughter.

The paparazzi and tabloid journalists have their own circle of hell reserved, I'm sure. As do the people who create the demand for the magazines that make it such a lucrative business to be in.

As though we need this constant stream of bullshit in the world. Leave them be.

I agree, completely.

I looked at the pictures that were printed in People magazine this week and Shiloh looks just like him. But yeah, I agree with you.

I just saw the cover and she looks gorgeous.

Even if she's not Brad's, it's nobody's business anyway. And they should be allowed to enjoy their life and daughter in peace. It's all so sickening... I can't imagine that kind of stress on top of just having a baby. No wonder they went to Africa, it probably afforded some measure of distance from the craziness.

Buckwheat & peas.

World peas. Buckwheat for pillows.

Wheatberries for Rejuvelac.

That stuff is kidsmack, it's a 'zine that if you don't pay attention to, it's paying a whole bunch of paychecks and only does "harm" to those who're in the industry. If anything like that papazazzi comes up on you, just get out your pea shooter. Then call some friends, we'll show up with our pea shooters, wrist rockets and some Big ole flashguns which kill film.

Clearly, nothing is more important than made up celebrity drama...

It's sickening how many people care more about what the tabloids have to say than real things going on in the world.

Don't tell anyone, but the truth is I am the baby's father.
Let Brad think it's his and let him pay for it.

As lame as the tabloids are being, he adopted her other two kids. This isn't a guy who seems to put biology before family.

[identity profile] tanthe.livejournal.com 2006-06-13 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I know. That made me wonder why they thought anyone would really care.

I look, and laugh most often, at the tabloids. They're so unbelievably retarded that I can't help but laugh that there is someone, somewhere nearby, that's devouring those smut mags like it was the bible. More than anything, I think that's the most amusing thing.

Maybe I'm disgusted and can't help but laugh. Bah, I dunno.

Blame it all on your grandmothers, and possibly even your own mothers; Suburban housewives and all the doctors receptions and what-nots that continually buy this trash. It will die out - I promise you that (or it will evolve into something far worse!)
