i'll go offline before EVER putting anything having to do with TCPA on my computer...i'd rather screw Bush...and i'd rather die than do that...

i dont think that TCPA realizes that they will be MIGHTILY unpopular...

The point is that you don't get a choice whether or not you put it on your computer... part of the TCPA thing is soldered onto your motherboard, as mentioned here:

Reasons:
- It's an onboard chip, there's no way to "plug it off".
- This chip will get integrated into the processors. (just read the member list: AMD, Intel)

Considering it's not like we'll be left with that many alternatives, I doubt they'd really care. Plus all they can see is the 'good' of the TCPA, which would be the fact that piracy etc. would be nipped in the bud severely.

*shrugs* i wont upgrade with any components that are TCPA certified...my current system is about all i really need...once it really comes out...i'll get the latest board NOT TCPA certified, and all that stuff...
