Awesome Link

Insect Lab

A marriage of insects and antique watch parts and electronics. Much coolness. Sadly the price tag puts these puppies out of range for me.

Yeh, pretty. I'd rather they weren't using real bugs. Oh, and the newest JB movie is available on the peer networks, they might want to upgrade their viewing experience.

:)

Wow! Those are beautiful indeed. To bad I can't afford them either. :(

Those are quite cool, actually. However, the spiders are kind of gross because they use real bugs... *shivers* The butterflies and dragonflies are awesome! I wish I could afford something like that... if for nothing else than to have people ask about it when they come over :)

Wow those are cool!

Oh dear. I have the sneaking suspicion I might try this myself. I foresee bug bodies and watch parts in the future ...

Hehehe. Are you going to try with bugs you find, or are you going to source scientific grade bugs like that person is doing?

The idea is totally awesome, but I know I'd just destroy the bugs. And I'd feel guilty ripping off their idea :P Though if it's for your own personal collection it's different than copying and trying to sell it. Obviously.

I'll probably experiment with found bugs first. It's not like the insects aren't giant enough down here to add watch pieces too. :p

I do feel a little guilty about ripping off the idea though, so I'll probably try to change it up at least a little.
