So book 6 just after Dashiell's birth, and movie 5 just before his 2nd birthday, and book 7 a week after his birthday. Hahaha.

I came to the series REALLY early. The same former Amazon employee friend, Jill, is an aspiring YA writer whose parents work as graphic designers for a textbook publisher, so she heard about the books through those circles shortly after the first one was released.

She bullied me into reading them right before the third book was published I believe. Jill even dressed up as Harry Potter that Halloween, and no one knew who she was supposed to be. As unbelievable as that sounds. :P

I never thought of picking up the British version from the UK Amazon. That would be a good gift for Ducky.
