The time passes really quickly. I'm finding that too.

Just remember, that we don't forget about these people, we just learn to operate without them.

It's so strange how time works.

And no, we certainly don't forget. They live on quite vividly in our minds.

I was glad I was able to see her before she passed. She had pancreatic cancer and it progressed really really fast. When they put her on morphine tablets for pain management I pushed up my trip to Holland even more than I already had. She passed away a week after I got to see her and introduce Dashiell to her. So I feel very lucky for that.
