I'm one of three and never had an issue with it. And I know several other sets of three (friends and cousins) who also worked well as threesomes.

I think that how well it works is really also an individual family thing. Some people hated being just a twosome or a threesome, others love it. I will say that I think that I might enjoy having more than one single sibling... though I really interact most with one out of the two that I have (the other and I do get on, but we're really too different and just aren't as close).

Prez has said he'd like three or four, so we'll see where we draw the line, lol. Three would certainly be a bit easier than four in terms of just basic things like sleeping arrangements (if you want to give them each their own room), or car seating arrangements (regular sedan versus actually needing an SUV or a minivan or something with third row seating).
