Comics

I ordered a bunch of comics today. I've been several issues behind on a few series that I follow, so I put in an order today with Slave Labor Graphics for my missing Gloomcookie, Nightmares & Fairytales, Lenore and Little Gloomy issues, plus the Revenge of the Filler Bunny. Looking forward to these.

Now I must go resize and zip up a bunch of pictures from the 2 weekends we recently spent with Kit and Cherie so I can get those to them tonight.

I miss collecting comics. I dont know..your post brought me back to the old days. I miss those times. Maybe I need to check out some new things..;)

I've not been keeping up to date much with comics in recent times either. I miss not having a fairly local good comics store like the one I had back in Holland, where the guy behind the counter would know exactly what kind of stuff to recommend to me.

Plus after the series that I was mainly collecting ended (Vertigo's The Dreaming, the Sandman spin-off) I kind of stopped keeping track other than the Slave Labor stuff.

I was never into any of the super hero stuff really, more the kind of alternative stuff. What is it you (used to) read?

I used to collect Sandman. Season of Mists was my favorite. I used to collect all sorts of comics but that was years back.

Funny thing tho...I went into forbidden planet today and got all nostalgic(sp). Hhmmmm maybe I should look into comics again. Maybe there will be something more up my alley..:)

I got tired of superheros quickly. Boring. I need a comic that makes you think and is fun. Superheros always seem to go thru the same thing, day in and day out..:P
