Dead Comp

Bleh.

My computer died. It's only like 9 months old or so, so pretty new. Goes to show that computers really are nothing more than overpriced pieces of shit.

Something with the RAM, we think. PreZ is taking it to CompUSA tomorrow to run some test on it, if it is the RAM, this will mean several days with very little access. I can get by using PreZ's laptop, but is not something I like spending much time on.

I guess this is my cue to read more this weekend. Not wholly a bad thing.

At least it died within the 12 months. Imagine if it waited for the 366th day to blow up.

If it is as I expect the memory, it would not matter. Crucial has a lifetime warranty :)

Heh lucky. Sounds like Crucual are crucial.

Ah, that's too bad. I remember a few months ago when my power supply died (second one I've had), I was lost without my computer. Usually when I'm at home I'm sitting at my desk the whole time, whether I'm actively using the computer or not. And I didn't have anything else to really use except the pc at work. What an addict I am!

And I know what you mean about laptops. I would despise them except for the fact that they're somewhat convenient at times. I've had two friends that have ditched their desktops for laptops. Oh man does that bother me. I'm just like "what are you thinking!?" And I said that to them as well.
