You'd think there would actually be something decent on tv on a Saturday night, but of course that's too much to ask. It's pretty pathetic when Crocodile Dundee 2 is the most entertaining thing on.

Currently the only thing remotely worth seeing is Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. The only glitch in that was the fact that it's playing on a Spanish tv network, and I speak about fuck all Spanish. Granted, I own the video tape of that movie, given to me once as a gift in my teenage years, so it's not like I don't know what's going on. Mmm Christian Slater...

I might head into the city this week and get new lobe holes pierced. I was going to get those done along with the industrial, and forgot at the time. All in all not that devastating as I had enough on my hands with the care of two new holes and then getting struck by a pretty severe cold directly after.

Nothing on tv last night, eh? I take it then that you don't get the Independent Film Channel? 'Cause there was a pretty good film on called Plunkett and Macleone. Apparently based on two historical figures who robbed a bunch of rich people back in 18th Century England.

No, no independant film channel. We just get whatever cable package the owners of the house actually get, and that's a fairly basic one. Not even the Sci-Fi Channel with it's ever hokey programming.

Had my computer not been dead I'd have played a dvd or something. As it was I ended up reading a little bit instead.

kit might want to go with you if he knew you were heading into the city today - for busks and flat steels and stuff - so call him if you want company. I'll tell him your plan.

I was thinking of going some time this week, not today. With it being Easter Sunday I'm not sure how that would affect shop opening times.

We also talked about going into the city this week, we'd need the measurements of the corset in order to be able to get the right busk and flat steels size, you have the pieces I believe. When we talked about going into the city for that on Friday, when we were working out whether or not corset making lesson #3 was going to go ahead, I think he said that after Wednesday was good for him, and Thursday is when we leave for North Carolina for that wedding ;) So we decided to postpone everything for like at least the next week.

Wednesday works.

You'll need to get the measurements for the busk and flat steels though, obviously :) If that's all we need then it should be a relatively short trip, barring going down to the village to NY Adorned again. Do you need anything else in the Fashion district? or want to browse or something?

The corset supply place, they're up in the 50s aren't they? we could meet PreZ for lunch if he's going into work that day (rather than work from home) as he works on 55th.

Multiple corset stuff when I get back... yay! I'm pretty bummed at having to miss next week due to this wedding. A whole bunch of people I don't know and have never met... yay. I have yet to go to a wedding that is actually mildly entertaining. Maybe they have an open bar...

That's the weird thing about the Spanish stations. They always seem to show good movies. Or more specifically, movies you wouldn't mind watching all the way through. I can think of several times flipping around the dial, not paying any attention, and coming across something good. For a split second there's a great feeling excitement, followed by a big letdown the moment someone talks. I remember they were playing Conan the Barbarian one night, and I almost sat through and watched the whole thing.
