So Wednesday I want to go into the city for a new set of lobe holes at least, just because I want them before we head down to North Carolina.

There's a possibility that Kit might come along too and we'll make it a corset supplies trip too... not sure though... having my computer be fried means that computer access has been a lot less than usual, with virtually no messenger access. To add insult to injury the webmail keeps being a bastard so I can barely check my email... PreZ, if you read this: yes you can switch me to IMAP so I can log into pine instead.

Still no ideas as to what to get PreZ's cousin for the wedding. They didn't give us any info on a wedding registry, I've never met them before in my life and PreZ hasn't seen her in quite a few years and has never met her husband-to-be, so that doesn't help... I don't even know what the customary amount is to give either. Argh.

Need to pick up some travel supplies for the roadtrip down there on Thursday. Need to do a dye job tomorrow evening too so that looks all nice and fresh for this weekend. Need to also decide what I want to wear to it too, I'm not allowed to alienate the relatives too much, some of them are born-again/uber-christian... this should be fun.

I never know what to get either for weddings, but one thing I've done for many people I know getting married (and with great success) is to by a reasonably sized plastic storage bin, Rubbermaid or something, and fill it with cleaning supplies, toilet cleaner, laundry detergent, pine sol, paper towels, sponges, etc. and usually a pack of M&M's for the bride. Not sure if that would be appropriate or not but the ones I've made have gone over really well.

Well, I don't know if they're already living together or going to move in together now that they're married... if they already live together, then I'm sure they already have most cleaning products. Plus I know that she at least comes from money, and I have the feeling he does too.

I'm not sure how well a container of cleaning products would go over to a couple you've never met. Also doesn't strike me as all that romantic a wedding gift :P

Well the couples that I've given it to have just been moving in with each other so I guess that was more appropriate, plus they were all college students that don't come from money, so that kind of thing was appreciated. Maybe give them a gift certificate for a maid service or something, hahaha. I'm sure you'll find something appropriate. I don't think wedding gifts have to be romantic, but the honeymoon and ceremony itself and all that should be!

You could get them contraceptives.... a warm loving gift that's also a subtle hint "please don't breed".
