Last night X-Men 2 did the late night talk show circuit... Hugh Jackman (Wolverine, yummy) on Letterman, complete with longer hair (extensions, for his film Van Helsing), Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) on Leno and Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) on Conan O'Brien.

Apparantly Hugh Jackman is doing a show on Broadway, The Boy From Oz... PreZ already saw that back in Oz, I'd be up for seeing this version, especially with Hugh Jackman in it...

Alan Cumming is such a cutie, his interview with Conan was funny. I really wish all the segments on the talkshows were longer, they're mini mini interviews, which always sucks. There was also an amusing moment on Conan when they had a sketch in which Conan was replaced temporarily by a new host... James Lipton from Inside The Actor's Studio... "After the break my 4 hour interview with Alan Cumming"... I wish.

Hugh Jackman is so Aussie it hurts. He did a fantastic interview on one of the live shows here in Oz the other week.

Don't go see the Boy from Oz if you want to see Hugh as a nice hetrosexual, tough guy ;) Its a musical based on the life of a gay piano player :)

Hehehehe... PreZ has already seen it, and I was aware who it was about.

I don't mind if Hugh plays a gay piano player, he's cute as hell and I'd be happy just looking at him ;) PreZ did say he really liked the show, so he's probably game for a return viewing.

And he's much better to think about than the enzyme test I just took, ugh. Thank goodness the semester is done. Glad you liked X2, I want to go see it myself. I have the first on DVD.

Ah yes, DeKalb Illinois! Home of Northern Illinois University (I'm an alum), cornfields, and the invention of barbed wire. It's about an hour's drive west of Chicago. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Hugh Jackman once pissed himself on stage.

Seriously, it's a true story. He had to go on and do a scene so he didn't have time to go to the toilet. Being the consummate professional thespian he is, he decided to hold it in until he had finished his piece, which required him to sing. In order to achieve this high notes, Mr Jackman had to relax certain muscles in his body. As a result, he pissed himself on stage.
