Weekendy stuffage

Saturday was mostly a veg out day... slept in too late to really head out to the mall to do some much needed shopping for such clothing necessities as new underwear, so we ended up doing a whole bunch of fuck all really.

Why is there never anything decent on tv on the weekend? Plenty of interesting shows and movies on during the week, but the weekend programming is destined to suck.

Sunday morning PreZ was on the phone to Cherie outlining all the possibilities she has for him to build her a new computer for a relatively low price, and he then invited her along to go to the Palisades mall as we were going to head off there shortly to get some of that overdue necessities shopping done.

So we met up with her there and roamed around the mall for a while, bought a few essential items as well as some non-essential stuff, such as the latest Sims expansion pack and the new Civilisation 3 expansion (yay, multiplayer/internet/LAN gaming!), had some food at the Outback steakhouse and headed back to our place afterwards.

More computer-part discussing was done and some regular chit-chat and we then decided to go bowling. The bastards at the bowling alley would only let us do one game but that was still fun. It never ceases to amaze me how the guy behind the counter (with a weird grapefruit sized growth on his hand *shudder*) still doesn't recognise PreZ, even though he's been bowling there on a pretty much weekly basis for about 2.5 years now. Not that PreZ sticks out like a sore thumb or anything, but he definitely doesn't look like everyone else and you'd definitely remember him if he came by once a week for 2+ years.

Had some coffee and pie afterwards, then mucked around at home looking at pictures and silly things online for a while before saying sayonara to Cherie and crawling into bed.

Oh, did I mention I caught mouse #7 sunday morning?

Plus.. doesn't PreZ have an Australian accent?
You'd think that would be a very distinctive thing that would set him apart from other guys with long blond hair. :)

(How often do you see a guy with long hair these days anyway.. in the general public I mean..?)

Yeah, long hair isn't that common, though the guy behind the counter also sports a pony tail I believe.

But the guy is also just thick as a post I think... if you see the same customer shuffle by about 100 times you should recognise him, or at least I would (I'd notice the same person if they came by more than twice, let alone dozens and dozens of times). I swear the bowling alley just hires the dumbest people, they don't know shit about shit. There's one guy who knows what the hell he's doing, recognises PreZ and is nice and helpful, but other than that the rest of them are bored stupid motherfuckers.

Ok I've gotta ask why in the world you guys would go to Outback Steakhouse, LOL. Tell Prez he can probably have the desktop that I brought up there last time... I can't get the fucking thing to work and since I got the new laptop I'm going to put all important files on this and put linux on the old machine/newer desktop and give that a go. I'll have to pack it during what will hopefully be interviews at some point!!! *HUGS*

So we can laugh at the fact that they have dishes on the menu called "Botany Bay fish"... hilarious due to the fact that Botany Bay is an industrial site located almost next to the airport... not the first place you'd go fishing for edible catch ;)

But their food's quite good actually ;)

I've been there once, was a very amusing trip with Jamie and Kevin, and yes the food wasn't bad at all... the names cracked me up too but probably not to the extent that they would you! Hope all is well otherwise and that the mice are leaving you alone! *HUGS*
