So is anyone aware of any bizarre astrological occurences right now, considering most people I know are having a really shitty last few days? Or do we chalk this up to lingering effects from the lunar eclipse last weekend?

At least my crap is stuff that I can laugh about, in a strange and twisted way. Most other people aren't that fortunate.

i think there was a lunar eclipes a few days ago...
at least that's what i heard, not like i can ever see the moon in England... always raining!

Yeah, the lunar eclipse I was aware of (and mentioned in my post), it was last Saturday on the 8th. We were lucky, it was a clear night and it was visible, though I only saw the tail end of it, not the actual eclipse.
