Of all the shitty things to do...
Someone mentioned this on IRC today, an incident which happened at their work:
"Today at work on the phone: Manager to Customer:
[Manager] Could I please speak to Mr Smith.
[Customer] Sadly we lost him a year ago.
[M] Oh right, do you plan on finding him.
[C] (almost crying) No, I mean he died."
Now this would have been understandable, until you saw what else said peep on IRC mentioned:
"That isnt a joke, it did happen today, and the manager knew the husband was dead. He even put it on loud speaker"
Of all the asshole things to do, I think this really takes the cake. That manager needs a good lynching in the parking lot.
