Finished And In Progress

Some "Sally*" stitching to jazz up a plain black tshirt. It goes all the way down the side seams too, though it's harder to see. Boredom, purple embroidery floss and some spare time:

A black widow's hourglass on the back, done with sequins and red foiled beads. The sequins end up looking a bit weird and orange thanks to the camera flash but it's really a very vibrant red:

The tongue in cheek skulls & roses cheongsam. Missing the collar, sleeves, lining and needing to be sewn at the side seams, but the basics are there:

The oriental brocade cheongsam. It's missing the same items as the skulls & roses dress, as well as an additional side front panel that I haven't attached yet:

I'm waiting on a few supplies in order to finish the cheongsams, but other than that I'm happy with how it's gone so far. The pattern was altered in several places than what it was on the package, and I'm not sure I'd recommend that particular pattern either, there are (have to be) much less complicated cheongsam patterns out there (Buttericks at the very least I believe) than this Simplicity one. I think 22 pieces is a bit much for a cheongsam.
Need to order some other supplies for another project involving this fabric which glows in the dark :)
