Damn cable companies

Fucking cable company.

They took over the cable company that was supplying our area, they changed a bunch of channels around and we got a bunch of new ones. To my delight this also included Sci Fi, so I was able to tape the first episode in the new viewing season of Farscape last week. Now it looks like they've gone and changed things again, and Sci Fi is encoded... I can hear it but the picture is scrambled.

So no new Farscape. I'm pissed.

What's worse is that I can't complain, nor do we really know what's happening with the channels as it's the people who own the house whose cable it is... we get what they get.

Kit, do you have Sci Fi on the cable in your new place?

Froggy extrapolated a bit. Apparantly it's something to do with this "Thumbprint of God" thing, the fractal image always has a self-replicating spiral which is identical in the macrocosm and the microcosm, and there's a certain pattern which always appears no matter what the parameters.
Or something.
But it's not like we can trust anything he says :p
