As for the paid account, I'm only a fairly recent convert. I've been on LJ something like 3 or 4 years, and I only got a paid account back in November.
Apparantly the image was taken from the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book. I'm guessing the US or some other foreign edition or something, because the UK one didn't have any illustrations.
The illustration itself refers to the supporter hats for Irish fans in the Quidditch World Cup (Ireland vs. Bulgaria).
Also where I got my Pride and Prejudice icons from.
The art used for the WoW icons is on the WoW site.
I think that if I manage to achieve certain goals by the end of the year (update & redesign GN being the first and foremost), that I will treat myself to WoW.
There are some great Night Elves icons, and the Undead ones I really like (the one I'm using now being my favourite).
If you ever want to see what userpics a person has, you can click on their user icon and it shows all user pics. When I take icons from icon journals, I credit back the maker.
Heh, well maybe you can comment in the journal and request more Undead? :D
It's possible that there just isn't that much Undead art on the WoW site to use as icons. Night Elves are probably one of the most popular races to play (I would think).
