Feb. 18th, 2003 11:30 amWe have about 20 inches of snow and counting. It stopped for most of the evening, and started up again this morning. They're only supposed to be flurries today though, so not the accumulation we've been having.
Luckily we kept up-to-date with the shovelling, so that's not too much of a problem, with the exception of the car. The people upstairs cleared the entire driveway yesterday, but they didn't dig around our car, and the problem is that some of the snow mounds from the driveway are also quite close to the car... digging it out is gonna be so much fun. Most of it is knee deep, but parts are much deeper. So that's one of my missions for today I guess... still have sore muscles in my back from digging us out yesterday, yay!
I think it's time for caffeine now.

Date: 2003-02-18 10:57 pm (UTC)It's digging a hole IN a snow bank, for your car, so that you have someplace to park.
I finally get out of work(33 hours straight), dead beat tired, and I get home only to have to dig out 140 square feet of snow to make a parking space.
It's OK though, I compensated by sleeping for 13 hours. :)
