Oh shit! I've gotten a half dozen of those in the past week. My theory was that it was because of my papow . com email address.

Stupid quick anecdote: Pa-Pow is the name of my consort's dog. He loves that dog. His license plate, URL, every username.. it's all about his dog. He even has a P in a starburst tattoo'd on his shoulder.

Ted loves that dog.

Anyway, people generally assume that "Papow" indicates that he's either a gun nut or a Pennsylvania P.O.W.

Odd. Though I can kind of see how they'd make the connection (in a spaced out/overtired/not paying attention way).

However with goth.net I have to wonder. While I don't want to speak for all goths I just can't really imagine them being the "same social group" as people frequenting a site called the-big-guns.com.

What - have you been living on the moon? EVERY goth has at least three guns... I mean, I'm going online to buy my fifth gun today. this one is special so I can go shoot up some high school, one of my favorite gothic past-times.
