Christmas run-up

So today we went to the local nursery and bought our Christmas tree, which now stands decorated in the living room. It smells nice, and looks purty. Other than that we braved Toys-R-Us for a gift, leaving us with only a trip to Ikea before we're all done with everyone. Most of the gifts also already sit wrapped under the tree, so we're ready well in advance.
Lunch/early dinner was at Outback steakhouse which was yummy.
The rest of the evening was mostly vegetative. Bought the last Sims expansion, Making Magic, so that should be amusing when I start playing again. Other than that I've just kept relatively quiet recuperating from Friday. So all goes well.
Now it's time to go veg in bed with a book and possibly some tea. Fun to do, a lot less interesting to read about :)

Date: 2003-12-15 02:19 pm (UTC)The Magic Town neighbourhood has 3 areas, one's clowns and carnival, the other is in a foresty autumnal setting with gypsies and some oddities, and the third is in a swamp setting and is your Addams family kind of neighbourhood.
It's pretty fun, though the game keeps fuxoring up and I have to continually restart it, which is pissing me off.
