And today marks PreZ and my second wedding anniversary.

Scary that time does pass so quickly.

Happy Anniversary hun ;)

Friendster is a neat concept.

I just wish it wasn't so goddamn slow all the goddamn time (which is the reason I've ignored it for months, even though some people I only have on that page and not on LJ). It's worse than the way LJ can get in the afternoon sometimes with all the homecoming school kids. *Blech*. It's slow like that all the time too, not just at specific peak times. I'm guessing .jsp pages aren't speeding things up much, I've not encountered much java related that's reknowned for speed.

Okay, so technically it's no longer your birthday.

I had a great time at the celebrations though, food was yummy, company was even better, and met some new people to boot. Success :)

And now I must join my already unconcious other half in the pursuit of ZzzZzZzzzZ's.

I feel like death warmed over.

Went to bed sometime around 4 and was woken mere hours later by the sound of holes being dug right outside our bedroom window. It was the constructioning neighbours (the ones that have been digging their backyard up for the past 2 summers) doing our upstairs neighbours/landlord a favour by digging a few holes for extra support beams for their balcony/deck. Absolutely wonderful. It was hard enough trying to drown that out, but sometime after 10 they decided upstairs that they needed to vacuum and from the sound of it install a Christmas tree (loads of moving around) and to top it off play some cheesy damn Christmas songs cd, very loudly, that just proved once more that their musical taste is a 50s throwback. After about 6 or so tracks droning through the ceiling I had to get up and play some of my own music lest I go completely homicidal.

At least they didn't vacuum as early as they did on Thanksgiving, when they started before 8am, of course in the room directly over our bedroom.

So now I sit sipping my large Nightmare Before Christmas coffee filled mug, and eating some pumpkin pie, which is making me feel marginally better.

If there's one thing that really ruins my day it's not enough sleep, and being rudely awoken and kept awake by loads of noise.
